Dr. Steven Thain, D.C. - Chiropractor
"I didn’t choose chiropractic…chiropractic chose me. In the 8th grade I was enamored with the human body, memorizing all the bones and anatomy came so easy, I just knew I was supposed to do something with health I just didn’t know what exactly. Then, one night at a church function, I overheard someone say “I am going to become a chiropractor”.
Something inside me resonated with that statement, that voice inside said….”That’s it, that’s what you are supposed to do.” From that point on I never wavered. I went to high school, college and then Chiropractic College. I was destined to be a chiropractor. Interesting thing, at that point in my life I had never been to a chiropractor, seen one or even talked to one…I just knew it had something to do with health and that was what I was supposed to do.
Since graduating in 1986 from Western States Chiropractic College I have continued my ‘calling’ to help others through the incredible profession of chiropractic. I have helped new born infants only a few minutes old to people in their 90’s. I have seen professional athletes, television personalities, housewives, business people, kids and students. I have had the honor to talk at businesses, churches, non profit organizations, schools and even be on TV and the radio to share the chiropractic message.
My focus has been to give, love, serve and inspire people to attain better health and be the best they can be. I am truly blessed to have been called to this profession of chiropractic because I have helped so many achieve better health, life and vitality.
I love to travel, ski, golf, play basketball and root for the Seahawks. I have been married for 25 years to my high school sweetheart and we have 1 son who is our miracle child. We were told by the medical scientists that we would never have kids, but through alternative care and a gift from above…we were blessed with a son. "

Courtney - Front Desk Lead
Courtney is our Front Desk Lead and has been with WellnessOne since February 2014. She has a long history of customer service because she loves to work with the public. The love for caring of others started young when she grew up in a home where her parents owned an adult family care home. It was living with the elderly who became like grandparents and needed different levels of care that molded her into wanting to help people.
Courtney is originally from Washington and lived in Maine for 18 years. After many cold winters she decided to come back home to Washington and started her family. She resides in Kirkland with her 3 year old son; Christian and her significant other; Tyler. Aside from her job, she loves movies, being a foodie, activities with her son, the beach, nature walks and being social.
My name is Annie Fleckenstein and I am from Spokane, WA. I moved over here to Kirkland, WA to go to school and work at WellnessOne Chiropractic. My background is quite interesting. I lived in Juneau, Alaska for 3 years while still having a place to call home back in Spokane, WA. I went to Catholic school for 2 years as well as a Christian school for 2 years. I finished out my education in a year-around school until graduating middle school and going on into high school. I was a cheerleader for 4 years and a captain/choreographer for the team for 3 of those years. I am going to EWU online right now finishing out my business major.
My passions are to dance and to work out. I love promoting a healthy and positive lifestyle. I have gone to conferences for Deepak Chopra and many healing/inspirational talkers. I am into essential oils, yoga and meditation. Things I do on my off time are going backpacking for a couple days at a time, yoga, read good books, clean my apartment, and go on long walks. I grew up traveling to lots of places around the USA. One place that I admired the most was staying a month in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I learned so much about the community and really got involved in their lifestyle. If you cut the united states in half, I have been to the whole left half (west side) of the united states. Traveling has given me lots of knowledge that I can use to educate other individuals.
